Hinomi was born out of my own experience. After an injury at an early age, I lived with severe lower back pain for more than two decades. Along the way, ergonomic seating became a lifelong preoccupation of mine — and I came to see that most ergonomic chairs on the market are not truly ergonomic, and that the good ones are often prohibitively expensive.

I founded Hinomi to change that: applying state-of-the-art ergonomics engineering to build chairs that are not only high in quality, but genuinely support the lower back, spine and neck — at a price real people can justify.
